Min. gap between upper pulley and sprocket?

Just washed my bike. It's a specialized tricross sport. Triple ring at the front, 11-32 at the rear. Rear derailleur is a shimano deore LX.
I noticed that the upper pulley was rubbing on the sprocket when i was in the 32t.
Is there a min. gap?
I've adjusted the B-screw and it is practically all the way in now leaving the tiniest gap between the upper pulley and the 32t sprocket.
Is this an issue?

If it is not rubbing then should be ok.0

If its the big ring on the front, then really it should actually rub, as you would normally run this combo.A Flock of Birds

Just realised that since all this fettling was done with the bike upside down (as I don't have a bike stand) the observation is probably meaningless.
Anyone have a suggestion for a makeshift bike-stand?0
