Brake Bleed?
I Don\'t Get It

Fitted new brake pads to Pitch Pro. Front fine, but rear dragging a little. (Fitted correctly and caliper centralised.)
The handlebar lever has very little free play and the brake comes on almost immediately it is pulled. (Progressively and normally.) I assume there is too much fluid in the sysytem, and I want to release a little but there appears to be no bleed nipple in the caliper! There are small screws but which one would release a little fluid to allow the pistons to fall back slightly? (I suppose removing fluid from the lever reservoir would be pointless since the excess is through the seals and can't get out.)
The calipers are Avid Juicy 3's or 5's - not sure which.

what about just adjusting the lever reach and then let them bed in before doing anything.
I guess they were fine before.
If you wish to release fluid yes it should be done from the bleed port on the lever.
but i would not do so yet.
but while you are thinking down load the info on how to bleed the Avids just in case you mess it up it will also show you where to let the fluid out."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Thank's for the info. Just ridden again and drag almost gone. (Brake works fine.) will see if lever can be let out a bit, if not will leave alone since drag now greatly reduced.0
