    Waiting for the oven to heat for the pizza, having a "home alone" night in, about to surf the 'net for some random shopping, thinking bike stuff, gig tickets and anything else that looks nice. Then decision time between Star Trek, Inglorious Basterds, or anything new that's come on to the Virgin on demand service this week. Busy night! :D

    i broke my own rules this evening and ordered a ham and pineapple pizza. i dont like to mix sweet fruits and savoury ingredients but i have been craving it all week. turns out i have been missing out, its proper good.

    Cheese indeed!

    Started with garlic bread topped with a good cheddar, which was browned in the oven.

    Then a homemade from scratch (and very rich) bolognese sauce (but with pasta shells rather than spaghetti) with aforementioned cheese.

    Stuffed now!

    Well, for tonight's meal I had.....

    Chunky cod in beer batter (was quite light) with petite pois and 'steak chips' with a side of sliced lemon and tartare (no desert though)

    washed down with an ice cold glass of 'full fat' coke......... (hence no desert)

    that might well be my last meal if i get a 24 hour stay of execution after my first last meal. :lol: i like my peas to occupy as much space on the plate as both the fish and chips put together and i like to have too much tartare sauce too.
