Very nice, couldn't you just use blu tac to stick it to the walls instead of those hooks though, it's that light!

bloody hell thats light  my mates rocky mountain is just over 20lbs and that feels too light so god knows what a bike around 17lbs feels like, let alone one that weighs 14lbs  does it not fell skittish on downhill sections????
  • Lovely bike sir, very nice indeed :D

    Good weight too, extremely light.

Shame you may be selling, but if you do I want first refusal on your R1s .......

Can I ask why you went for Pro 2 hubs on those wheels?

    Hi
If I can answer the the questions you have asked
How does it ride being 17,10lb,well I would say very well.I have treid to make it light, but useable at the same time.
I have been building bikes for 4 years for me and freinds etc and this rides with the best os them and more.

Why did I choice these hubs, well two things,First of all I was going for the american classic hubs which were 100grams lighter, but £120.00 more.???
Second the pro 11 are reailble, rebuilderable, and british.

    Thank you for your feedback.

Fair play, it's just the rest of the bike seems to have been a bit "no expense spared" with regards to weight vs cost, i'd have thought the same would have gone for the hubs. You're right though, they are very good hubs.

    Hi
looking back I should of may be shopped around for the hubs, but the wheels were the last item to be bought and for value and weight of 1300 grams a set they were the best value, and reliable as well.
