Which Wheels?

I want a new pair of wheels for my road bike, carbon bike with Chorus/Record, carbon stem, bars, seat pin and pedals. Currently just have a pair of Zondas on it.
Will be ridden for the odd flat ish road race, sportives, hilly and undulating and probably a trip to the pyrenees. And the very rare club 10.
Want a pair of wheels that would do all of the above or put zondas in for some rides if I need to.
Fancy something that looks good, like FFWD clinchers, Shamals, Reynolds Assault/Atttack or Ksyriums. Will spend around £800.
Any reccomendations/ views all welcome.

Will build you what you want, suited to your needs and at your budget you should come in under 1300gr for a set.Norfolk, who nicked all the hills?

Wish I had a budget that size!
I would recommend talking with a good wheel builder, you may have someone local? I can give you a recommendation if you like - Steve www.roadacecomponents.co.uk.
Tell them what you want and let them build a set just for you, I would hesitate at buying off the peg without speaking to an expert first.
Let us know what you get in the end.0 -
Shamals are excellent factory wheels if you don't fancy handbuilts. Strong, pretty light, reliable.0

Seen American Classics?
These are nice, bit heavyish but ride very well and look real good
The hubs are far superior to anything else IMO, so much so the likes of Mavic have tried to licence Bill Shook's patents for their wheelshttp://www.cultracing.com

That's interesting. AM Classic's used to be reknown for poor sealing in the MTB world so they've obviously improved. They were reasonably light but not up to UK conditions long term.0 -

they did and prob why they faded away from the UK market a bit until last year
The new MTB models have got some really good reviews in the MTB mags recently as did the 58's i mentioned above
And my team have just done an entire cross season on Carbon 58 & 38 tubs and the wheels are as sweet as. If they can take cross they can take anythinghttp://www.cultracing.com
