Ok, so Wiggle have ran out of stock on the tyre I wanted and wont be getting any until late Feb, however I'd really like to get some new tyres asap so will be changing my order. Now I'm just wondering if any of you have used any of the following tyres and can comment on there cornering grip ect...
Vittoria Rubino Pro Slick Road Tyres
Continental Ultra Sport Folding Road Tyres
Michelin Lithion Folding Road Tyres
ps. They'll be used for racing. I would buy higher priced ones if I could
Thanks.

Not used any of these, but like you I'd be interested to hear about people's experience of the Rubino Pros as a winter tyre. I was thinking that the fast wear rate of Open Corsas would be more bearable if the winter tyres lasted a long time.
Or am I wrong? Do Open Corsas actually have decent tread life if not used on abrasive surfaces?0 -
is wiggle the only shop in the uk?'dont forget lads, one evertonian is worth twenty kopites'0

No but I placed an order and would prefer to edit it rather than placing another order elsewhere.0 -
Think I'm going to go with Vittoria Rubino Pro Slick Road Tyres0

Only recently changed to the Vittoria Rubino Pro's but initial impressions are very good.
They feel perhaps a little firmer than the Continental 4 seasons I had on before, but roll really well even at reduced psi and grip seems top notch. No punctures either, so only positive feedback from me so far.0 -
Thanks, will email Wiggle tomorrow and ask them to change the order.0

I have some Lithions which I am pleased with for a winter bike.
These have a file tread on them so I would think they would compromise rolling resistance for racing on.
Having said that they are grippy and supple. Would be OK for early season use but not fast dry tyres.FCN 4 summer
FCN 6 Winter

I personally wouldn't buy the Mich Lithions but I would go for the Krylion carbons instead.0
