Are shock pumps universal across manufacturers ie. if I buy a fox shock pump will it fit my manitou fork?

Many thanks

yes they are universal, I have even used my car pump in a push.

If you care about accuracy make sure the pressure range is good.

Forks are generally low pressure, shocks generally high pressure.

I have a pump with two guages, one low, one high, problem solved.

most shock pumps will have a big enough pressure range for anything, and not all forks and shocks need the same pressures, they can vary a lot, for instance my old manitou minutes needed about 150PSI, whereas my marzocchi dirt jam pros only needed about 40-50 PSI.

my last shock needed 240lb, my fork 8

so for my example I think my point still stands.

Just because it has something written on the scale does not mean it is remotely accurate at that point.
