Anyone going to participate in the practice of Lent?

I am in no way a religious Christian but think that giving something up for a few weeks is a good idea. So I am going to avoid caffeine for the next 40 days. Should do me good I think.

    Yeah i was thinking of doing the same for alcohol. I don't drink a massive amount anyway to be honest, but do like the odd glass of vino of an evening, so i was thinking of giving that up... :wink:

    As far as I know I have not lent anything to anybody.I gave it up years ago cause I never got things back. :roll:

    When driving, I'm going to give up signalling, give up moving to the inside lane of the motorway when I've finished overtaking, give up only putting my fog lamps on when it's foggy, and be like every other t-w-a-t on the road.
