I've got a weekend riding the above 3 Stanes planned in March.
Anyone got a recommendation for a place to stop? Nothing too flash, B&B with a bike store would be ideal, near a pub for some grub and a few shandies would also be a bonus!

Try to get into the 'Break Pad'.
It's run by the girls who have the shop at Kirroughtree so is specifically set up for bikers.
It's pretty much in the middle of the three trails you are doing.

In addition - the third time we went to stay there they were full and were happy to recommend other bike friendly accomodation.
Other option could be the Barnsoul wigwams. Really cheap but could be cold at this time of year.

These are situated at the trail head at Mabie..

We went up there last May and stayed at the Travelodge just outside Dumfries. Cheap and cheerful. Very close to Mabie and a reasonable drive to Kirroughtree. No bike store though!Liverpool Mercury CC0

We have just stayed here: http://www.marthrownofmabie.com/
Good location, reasonably priced and a great cooked breakfast for £4.0 -

Torbay, Lindean, Moreig, Langlands or any from the list above.

Try Urr Lodge. Its minutes from Dalbeattie and Mabie and about 45mins drive from Kirri. It can take large groups but has individual rooms too. The owners are family friends and have got a really good set up going on there (and no, I don't get commission for recommending people!)0

Why not try Kerr Cottage - on the edge of Dalbeattie (Walking distance to town for a couple of drinks at night)
Highly rated on Trip Advisor and Laterooms we have 3 double rooms starting at £60 per room per night including breakfast.
There is lockable storage for bikes plus a drying room for outdoor gear0
