Grease Lightning...

So I need/want to properly lube parts of my bike - incl bb. What heavier greases are used by the tweakers on here and why do they use their chosen item. I've used castrol moly before way back when but I know there are a number of weird and wonderful lithium and all manner of things now. Some last for 6 months before needing replaced but are better etc. So come on bike nerds - slip me the info

Lithium grease for (bipolar) bearings, copper grease for threads and parts which need to come away again.

The product I tend to use is "Weldtite bike grease with teflon" - it appears to be very water resistant.

Word to the wise for people with Ti frames. Ti welds itself to everything, copper slip is your only hope.

I do agree that copper slip is the most amazing invention.

What applicators do you use/suggest with the syrigey things? I've used copper slip on my parents brake calipers before - it is the shizzle.
