i'm not the best, nor the worst at cleaning/lubing my bike. generally my drive train is ok - but i can never seem to get all the gunk out of the rear derailleur jockey wheels - using water, brushes, bike cleaner, lube, whatever.

anyone got any magic tips to share?

Take them out and clean them. Just need the right size allen key and a bit of care. Can be done without removing the derailleur or the chain, you just need to make sure the 'route' of the chain is correct when you reassemble.

    Cheers.
