    spent £0.00 on nothing - as per wifes wishes

    its a totally corporate day designed to drag money out of you, she knows I love her and doesnt need £30 spending to show it

    then i went to watch the rugby and drank a lot

    I've done an 8 hour library sesh, bringing it up to 60 hours this week.
    woo!

    Interview Wednesday better be worth it...

    I feel it, when I sorrow most;
    'Tis better to have loved and lost;
    Than never to have loved at all."

  • So how'd that rugby thing work out for you Neil?

  • So NN when do you and your wife enjoy a non-corporate day to celebrate how much you love each other? We, more pliable people, take this annual opportunity. To some, the chance to celebrate is sufficent in itself, time passes fast enough without spurning the odd chance to declare the status quo.

    I did the best thing, left home at 9:30 and got back at 5:30 in the evening, as I was racing yesterday.

    AS per NN, I don't bother with Valentines day, wife doesn't care, she just says don't forget birthday or wedding anniversary, though these have been forgotten in the past as well :lol:

    I did get her a cat on Saturday though.

    Went on a ride got back and the missus cooked a great fry up. She'd gone to the trouble of going a 1st class butchers for beer soaked bacon, all pork and leek sausages and black pudding which is to dye to for. Eggs, Beans and a fried slice with it soon had the cold and wet out of me :-). Now that's a valentines.

    well to be fair I went to headingley to watch the union lot with the intention of watching england in the club house if it got boring - needless to say they were both a true example of why rugby union is utterly UTTERLY drivel to watch at the moment

    so all in all with the rhinos losing to another lot of six fingered inbreds.. not brill :cry:

    the beer was fine though :P
