Help with cycle 'hotels' in Europe, summer

I am looking for recommendations for places to stay that cater to cyclists -- ideally with some guided rides -- in alps or pyranees for this summer. A week long program is good too, but am not looking for a high end trip.
I am aware of the bike hotels in Italy but most don't have programs in in july-august (suspect may be the case for most places).
Also interested in doing an european sportive / gran fondo while in europe, so even better if within one day traveling distance (and recommendations on that welcome).
Thanks!

You could try http://www.ffct.org/. This is the French cycletouring federation. I have not found an English link on the website but if your French is okay, or you have a friend who can translate, there is aome interesting stuff.0

If you copy the URL of that website into Google, it will translate it.0 -
Try scanning through this site as some do appear to offer various cycling facilities and guides. The more you spend - the faster you go - the less you see.0

The Pyreneene sportive is a great event, about 1500 riders last year. The long route goes over the Aspin and Tourmalet. Your 35 euros includes a nice full zip jersey as well as a few other bits, so it's good value.
