Hi,

I'm trying to keep my shiney new cube cleaner.
Any cube owners fitted either of these mudguards.
Does one fit better or are they equally good?

I would have thought either would work. Got the previous version of the Crud Catcher on mine and it fits fine.. Well i did have until I took it off and fitted a Mucky Nutz

  • Any will work, i have just bought some for my CUBE AMS 100, no problems with the front mudguard, but the back is a different story.

I have 2 Crudcatcher race packs, fronts are ok but the rear mudguard sits way too high on the Stem for my liking. Mud and rain will just come from the sides.

The removable bracket fro the rear fits around the stem ok but if i move it lower to the triangle bit of the frame it is about an inch too small to wrap around. If this did fit it would sit perfectly.

Would like to know how you got on with your rear guard??

Maybe someone can suggest what mudguard comes with universal fittings.

I use Crud Catchers front & rear on my AMS 100, they fit well & look ok as mudguards go

Crud catchers front and rear fitted fine on by Cube Attention hardtail. Generally keep my bender fender fitted to the front all the time and will double up with the front crud if I want extra protection.
  • The only problem I've found with a front crud catcher is at speed the spray off the front wheel gets in your eyes.

I use the older model on these on my AMS125

  • Hello,
    Any updated on this?

I just got a Cube Acid (Love it) and look for decent mudguards - I'm not going anywhere too extreme, just cycling in the rain...

    Thanks!

I use a Mucky Nutz Bender Fender on the front to try and keep cow poo etc out of my eyes, apart from that no point, everything is going to get covered in mud anyway.
