Look what I've made!
Where are my stabilisers?

When my sister came home with a rather dodgy looking Apollo, I knew I had to act fast, so I built her this
Tis my first ever build, made up of a mixture of new, used and whatever I could find in the garage!
Frame - BeOne Karma 3.0
Fork - RS Tora 318
Mechs/shifters - Shimano Alivio
Cassette - Alivio
Chain - Sram 8 speed
Brakes - Avid levers, Hayes mx2 cable discs
Stem - Kona
Bars - Kona riser
Wheels - Alex ?? Deore rear hub, front Kona
Seatpost - BeOne
Saddle - WTB
Chainset/cranks - Truvativ Isoflow
BB - Truvativ square taper
Pedals - Wellgo
Bit of a mixture, but I'm pleased with my effort! She's been out for a ride today and it's still in one piece

i take it as she is female she would not dare go near a saddle such as a spoon etc?
my mrs hates a skinny saddle - has a big fat one like that one on your sisters0 -
I bought that saddle cheap for my bike a while ago - It stayed on for about a week! Despite being female specific, it was rubbish.... Thought I'd palm it off on her Trouble is, she hates it too! I've got another spare one in the garage, plain black and not quite so large, I'll try her with that one.
It's good fun building up bikeshttp://i556.photobucket.com/albums/ss9/ ... lurLT2.jpg

Very nicely done! Careful you dont catch the bug though! Once you build your first, you just want to do more and more0
