What's the highest torque generally on a road bike?

Just bought myself a sealey STW1012 3/8" 2-24nm torque wrench. I know I need another torque wrench for some of the componenets so can someone advise what is the biggest torque I'm likely to need to apply on a modern road bike?

I'd think about 45 NM for old-style crank bolts.0

Thanks so looks like a Sealey STW1011 (7-112nm 3/8") or STW200 (20-80nm 3/8").0

No need for a speciic tool for that job: do you even have said "old style" crank bolts? Or a HT2 affair? If it's the latter, then the crank bolts are 12-15Nm, and the BB cups which are 40Nm. And TBH, there's nothing else of this value on a bike, so buying a tool would be a waste of money.0 -
I'd stick to the 2-20NM - having the bigger one isn't really necessary- I have both but frankly once you know how tight a crank bolt or BB needs to be, I just generally give it a good heave - with Loctite on the threads it ain't gonna come out.Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0

Ultra Torque centre bolt needs around 50nm - I bought a torque wrench as a couple of people I know had bolts come loose. Surprised me how high a torque it was, if I hadn't bought the wrench I'd have stopped much sooner as I used to have a habit of stripping threadsCarlsberg don't make cycle clothing, but if they did it would probably still not be as good as Assos0
