Don't fancy lugging a cargo bike loaded with guitars and PA up them there hills - mind you, you'd work up a good thirst.0

I'd be to knackered after a ride to do a gig, unless I cycled extra slow and was very very late.0

A few years ago on a hottest of hot summers day,me & my bandmates biked to gig we were playing at. For reasons unknown we all wore cricket whites with pullovers draped over the shoulders Nick Kershaw stylee.
It was a 12 mile plod that meant passing several Inns, at which a pint was consumed. When we arrived the beer tent beckoned with it's 11 cask ales on draught. We started at 1 & proceeded to work our way through.
We played at 3ish so were only semi sloshed so we got away with it. Riding back to Goole late on was ( health & safety aside) one of the best times I've spent on a bike.0 -
