I have ordered the Sram 2010 crankset (not BB30). I see that Sram offers two options: standard steel and ceramic). The price difference is outrageous. Anything (besides $$$) that I should consider about the options? I can buy 5 steel BB's for the price of one ceramic. Do any other companies offer BB's that fit this system?

enduro forks seals do some really nice ones

Hope do some adaptors that allow you to use their HT2 cups on a SRAM crank

and I think there's another one but I can't remember it

When I used GXP cups, I baulked at the ceramic price so just used the std steel ones, which were fine. I now use the enduro fork seals ceramic bearings as part of a BB86 pressfit set of cups, and they are very smooth, but not cheap.

you could also retro-fit some bearings to some GXP cups.

I run Red with the cheapo GXP BB's. I'm on my second but at £17 a throw it's not too bad.

I quite like the look of the Hope one though. As SRAM is getting more popular you would think a decent aftermarket like for like version would be available.

Chris King are going to do a kit to use their BBs on SRAM cranks for 2010 I think too.

Sounds like the Hope conversion to me.
