    Hey Chunkers,

Having recently completed Mountain Mayhem and a stint at Glentress with Andy on his Cube, I can tell you that his rear mech is definately on the right way up and works perfectly. A free tweak at The Hub in The Forest also confirmed this but he says thanks for the concern. The only thing this now makes me think is that your own rear mech is upside down? Next outing for the Cube will be with me at 10 More at Moray then Relentless 24 which I am hoping to beat him at as he did a few more laps than me at Mountain Mayhem....roll on October.

I am now a proud owner of a Cube AMS 125 The One, I must say that i am very impressed! the only thing i will change at the moment are the tyres, my local rides are very wet and muddy and the tyres do not cope well, however i will refit them if/when things start to dry up! extremely please with the kit for the price! top of the range TALAS FIT forks which work a treat! and excellent brakes (almost too goooood!) & the XT gear shifts are clinical! i have ridden it everyday since it has arrived!

    Hi,

I'm curious what kind of riding you do? I've seen a great deal on your bike (2010) but its fairly different from my current bike (Commencal Meta), which is more like the Cube Stereo. I've never felt my Meta fits me properly (too short lengthwise, plus perhaps a bit too tall) and have been looking at both the Stereo and AMS 125. I ride trial centres in Wales & Scotland (red & black runs), North/South Downs plus had a trip to the Alps last year. The Stereo is obviously a bit burlier and has some advantages like a bolt through front axle but I wonder if the AMS125 would be plenty enough for me (I've also been considering a Trek Fuel EX/9, which is probably more similar to the AMS than the Stereo or my Meta).

Would love to hear your opinions on the suitability of the bike for the type of riding I'm doing.

    Cheers, Chris
