Fork steerer lengths?

Hey guys,

Just received my nice new Magura Thors today but the steerer looks fairly short? The forks are aftermarket ones so not pre cut OEMs, so I was just wondering what kinda steerer lengths do aftermarket forks tend to have, & I appreciate that there will be differences between brands so I'm just looking for some figures please.

Must be just me then as the steerer is around 257mm, so its in the above range :?
