    anyone else noticed how badly impersonated welsh accents morph into Pakistani? Maybe there's more to it than we thought....

    Indeed The missus is one of them. Once read that a lot of English officers serving in India during the Empire returned home sounding Welsh.

    The reason is, Welsh and Indian are similar phonetic languages.
    The rhythym and timing is very similar, which I've got no problem with at all.

    Ryan gigs, part-Spanish.
    Shirley Bassey, Caribbean.
    I'm sure Tom Jones has got a little something in him too...

    Don't forget that many Italians came to Wales after World War II.
    That's why we've got the Taffia...
