When you start to put your stuff together the night before a ride?
just been sorting my kit out for tomorrow, and it just makes me wanna go ride right now!!
Really looking forward to getting out tomorrow after the crappy week i've had!

Yep, I was like this last night. I sometimes find myself doing pointless fettling just for the sake too. Just to make sure everything is running 100%.0

The night before the ride? Try 20 mins before leaving. Then 20 mins after leaving when you realise you've left your shoes behind and have to drive back.0

plus it gives me more of a lie in!
Takes me 20mins to squeeze the bike in the car too 0 -
Strangely, I get a little nervous just before going out, like I'm expecting the end of my driveway to have a 6 foot rooty drop off :oops: .0

i'm always nervous at the 1st part o the ride... takes me a while to get into it!
Which sucks, because the 1st bits of trail are usually great smile producers!0 -

yep, i always get exited the night before, and i too get nervouse, and take a while to get going...I like bikes and stuff0

Haha yes! Camelbak neatly packed like it's a parachute, kit laid out, bike in the flat, clean, fettled and ready to go, belly full of pasta. And it's even worse the night before a race!0

Yep for sure.... camelback packed, Chain lubed, tyre pressures checked and my fingers have the generally aroma of bike maintenance...

I get hugely excited the night before.
Even more so when I've been on some of the big trips away with the motorbike. Totally know the feeling.
I am really bad for setting all my stuff out so I can just get out the door in the morning. I've struggled to sleep on occasion before a trip or planned ride as well... :oops:

Definatly, and I can symathse with the nervousness at the beginning of a ride though I try to use the extra adrenaline to get my warmed up
Tell you what though, I am finding that I get less excited looking at online shops since I got the Dog exactly as I want it... :shock:0 -

I do get a bit of 'nervous' excitement before a decent ride (tum tums rumbling now as will soon be embarking on a 30-40miler). This usually manifests in excessive bowel movements - had 2 already this morning 0
