Gear cabling questions....

Okay, so my new frame wants me to run bare cable inner under my top tube, but I don't.
What's the best way to drill through the cable guides to allow me to run an outer for the length of the cable?
If I choose to do this what exactly do I need cabling wise?
I have SRAM Attack shifters with SRAM inner cabling already and my mechs are Shimano. What do I need to buy?
Thanks
Greg

Just having a look at these. How big are they? Do they stick out a mile?0 -

Shimano Dura Ace Gear Cable Set From £21.99

The only thing that would worry me with drilling the frame would be using DIY tools, you might struggle to get a straight hole. You'd never get a drill down flat enough to drill straight through in one go. :?0 -
I just wanna know what all the plugs I need are called.
Already have the cable inners so don't wanna shell out for a full kit 'cos they're quite expensive!0 -
