I dont know what the feck is going on at CRC lately.
STILL no pedals, been on the phone a moment ago after a rather determined 10min hold time. Pedals are in stock and have not been shipped yet FFS!!!!!!
They refunded me the £2.01 difference between the Crank Bros and XTR Monday but for some reason saw fit not to send my pedals out.
Also, normally when I purchase something via PP from them, I get the PP recepit email then the CRC confirmation email. Got the email saying CRC had taken £102.99 out of my account for the saddle, buit no CRC confirmation email?
Then checked back on the CRC site, and the blue saddle is no longer in stock. So on the phone I bring this up, and he questions my email addy WHICH I HAVE BEEN USING FOR 4 YEARS!!!!
Then assures me that the 'System' says I got the last one and it's being picked as we speak.....
Im starting to get the hump with them and I think to be honest I may stop using them after all of this

Hmm.... same as me I guess.
1st few orders I placed with CRC were great! But its as though as soon as you've spent a bit of £££ with them, they couldn't give a flying donkey!
"get the customers in with great delievery and service, then forget about them".
They've pissed me off a fair few times. Always pull through, but it can take a while.
Not as bad as winstanleys though.0 -
They've been more or less faultless with me for many years now. Except the time they forgot to charge me for the Shimano shoes...0

I ordered some brake pads from them yesterday so I could go riding this weekend. I ordered them before lunchtime yesterday, and guess what, they're still in processing! Come on CRC, what's going on? You used to be great and I'm heading back to Wiggle as we speak...Lapierre Zesty 514 - 20100

They are going to lose a lot of money from me becuase of this, I said to him that it's their fault I have not been able to ride for a week, no saddle and no pedals
My main concern (and this has happened to me before with them) is that you wait for the 'your item has been shipped' email which normally comes the same day as ordering. But it doesn't, so your waiting and waiting then get told the item is not in stock.
You then have to wait xx days before you get refunded, makes me laugh that they take 0.02 seconds to take the money from you, but 3 days to get a refund FFS,
So all in all it can be well over a week before you get your item, even longer if you have to wait for refund and order elsewhere.
If anyone from CRC is reeading this PULL YOUR FNGERS OUT FFS0 -

Do you not think you should have gone to the LBS, or ordered earlier?
Or did you pay for quick delivery?CRC wrote:FREE OF CHARGE 1st class postage with NO signature required on delivery. Used for smaller packages that can usually fit through your letterbox. Orders usually arrive next working day, although occasionally delays can occur
Given that, if I needed something to arrive after one working day I'd have paid for guaranteed delivery. Even if CRC posted it, Royal Mail may not have got it to you on time.
EDIT: CRC are fine for me. Balfa however......0 -

I didn't pay for the next day delivery because it said it would be dispatched today (yesterday). I do realise that the holdup might be with royal mail though. My point was that during the checkout it said the parcel would be dispatched yesterday, but today it's still in 'processing'. If it has been dispatched, then CRC's order tracking is next to useless.Lapierre Zesty 514 - 20100 -
bails87 wrote:Yeah, I know what you mean, if they haven't emailed you then it's likely that it's still in the warehouse. Which is unusual. But still, I wouldn't have relied in free delivery for something crucial.
No worries.. it's a valuable lesson and will probably make me stump up for their premium delivery next time (as long as someone's price isn't better).Lapierre Zesty 514 - 20100 -

I had an order delivered some 3 weeks ago but if I check online it's still 'processing'0 -

Well, I don't fecking believe it!!!!!!!
Pedals and saddle turned up today!
Fitted the pedals - sweet and look good,
Saddle, the rails don't fit in my seatpost (as they are carbon, they are fatter and need a Thomson style clamp.
So, keep the saddle and sell the seatpost
Keep the seatpost and send the saddle back
Have sold the ASPide
