...was actually brilliant, smooth flowing, lovely traffic, and I had a great ride. I did get to berate one driver though:

Anyone know what make of car that is? Perhaps I was a little mean on him, but it was highly entertaining!

does seem a poor overtake he only just gets in by time the car coming the other way passes you.0

Can I ask why bother?
I used to have a go all the time even got into a few stand ups.
Just pointless.Anger management . Deep breath and let it go over your head.0 -
I think Gazza missed the bit near the end when I'm struggling to keep a straight face and hold the laughter in.0

The gap between you and him looked good but that could be the angle deceiving me from your low position.Training is like fighting with a gorilla. You don’t stop when you’re tired. You stop when the gorilla is tired.0

The over take looks ok to me. Ok he broke the speed limit but i'd rather d*ckheads like him were not tailgating me and trying to intimidate me all the way down the road.0

What's it like commuting on a recumbent? I see one no and again around Notting Hill. It seems like a suicide mission riding one through London :shock:0

I totally agree, better in front. I did relish the chance to tell him off when I saw he didn't get anywhere with his overtake. I wouldn't normally have bothered, but after his flashing and impatience, he earnt it.Harry B wrote:What's it like commuting on a recumbent? I see one no and again around Notting Hill. Brilliant mate, far safer than riding an upright. Drivers give you way more respect, and see you more too. I get far fewer SMIDSYs, and generally much more room than on the upright. It's funny how people think it's unsafe, I guess just lack of experience in riding a bent on the roads?0
