After what people said about wether I should join a club I spoke to the chairman of the club which attracted me and spoke to him about my concerns about strange management consultant type people being on a bit of a power trip as a club chairman and uncontrolled political crap in local clubs and he said that it did sometimes happen but there were controls in place at the particluar club I am looking at, soooo I am gonna ride with them at the weekend and see if any of them have two heads.

Don't know about 2 heads but there'll inevitably be one or two with 2 faces

Ride with a bunch of like minded individuals who you can talk about cycling and have a laugh with? no thanks, i'll just stay riding on my own and blindly call them all clicky and power trippers.
  • I joined the Gregarios last year. My distance and fitness has leapt up, but still has a way to go. There's no cliques, no pwer plays, just plenty of enthusiasm and encouragement.
