I gather he did a bit of riding in Majorca recently. Feltet had an article where they were putting him the the bracket of Ardennes classic man.

He won the u23 LBL but if you look back it doesn't follow you're great at them in the elite ranks.

With Tony Martin on board , I wonder if HTC have a couple of the future big names for grand Tours on board?

    He's meant to be THE big name for the future but plenty can go wrong, they said the same about Jukka Vastaranta at one point and he never even came close to success.

    As you say Guldhammer was good in the hillier races but go back in time and the likes of Boonen have been players in the U-23 LBL, pro racing is more specialised. One to watch.

    He's more like a skinny viking. But he does have blonde hair if that kind of thing floats your boat.

    His name does mean "Gold hammer", very Viking but also a bit Bond villain? The Man With the Golden Hammer, "No Mr Boonen, I expect you to crack"
