Or another choice?
What should I go for - I want a jacket for Sportive riding, obv in UK weather conditions, waterproof would be good, but so would breathability - does anyone have knowledge of both and which should I go for?
Or is there a "no brainer" alternative?
Thanks...

I have the stowaway.
Fab piece of kit during spring/summer/autumn!0 -
What's the waterproofing like Nap? It's about £20 cheaper than the rain jacket, but I'm just unsure as to which will be the better long term buy....http://www.georgesfoundation.org

It's certainly shower proof but not fully rain proof.
The thing with the stowaway is it, well, stows away. I find no matter how good a rain jacket, they aren't breathable and you end up getting as wet through sweat!0 -
I had the same dilemma, and ended up with the Rain Jacket. It's reasonably breathable and waterproofing is good. I find it fairly stowable too. Have been using it for about 6 weeks, including in some prolonged downpours, and it's been great. Not sure whether it will be too warm in the summer, but my thinking was that I want a rain jacket to keep me dry when it's cold - i dont mind getting a bit wet in the summer when it is warm!0

What's the sizing like?
I take an L in the jersey. Should one take an L in the jacket as well? The jersey is "fitted" on me.My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)
