Or another choice?

What should I go for - I want a jacket for Sportive riding, obv in UK weather conditions, waterproof would be good, but so would breathability - does anyone have knowledge of both and which should I go for?

Or is there a "no brainer" alternative?

Thanks...

    I have the stowaway.

Fab piece of kit during spring/summer/autumn!

What's the waterproofing like Nap? It's about £20 cheaper than the rain jacket, but I'm just unsure as to which will be the better long term buy....

It's certainly shower proof but not fully rain proof.

The thing with the stowaway is it, well, stows away. I find no matter how good a rain jacket, they aren't breathable and you end up getting as wet through sweat!
  • I had the same dilemma, and ended up with the Rain Jacket. It's reasonably breathable and waterproofing is good. I find it fairly stowable too. Have been using it for about 6 weeks, including in some prolonged downpours, and it's been great. Not sure whether it will be too warm in the summer, but my thinking was that I want a rain jacket to keep me dry when it's cold - i dont mind getting a bit wet in the summer when it is warm!

    What's the sizing like?

I take an L in the jersey. Should one take an L in the jacket as well? The jersey is "fitted" on me.
