Kudos for Planet X

To add some balance when a retailer does the right thing:

I ordered a pair of Schwalbe Stelvios at Planet X but nothing turned up after a couple of weeks.

After one email, they said they must have got lost in the post and sent out a replacement which arrived in a couple of days.

Two days later, the originals arrived but the package had been torn open and resealed in a Royal Mail envelope as "return to sender".

I've emailed Planet X again offering to pay for the second set.

As we see a few threads slagging off shops, I thought I would add some balance here.

  • yes, they're good peeps at planet x ..their customer service is good in my experience, only wish they'd resell those excellent gillets from a couple of years ago!

    +1 for great service.
bought some bits(and two frames :-D ) got sent the wrong bars, they sent me the poper pair, and told me to keep the others since postage would be as expensive as the bars themselves.

They're very helpful, have a great sense of humour, the kit is great.

bought two frames and several bits and pieces, always turned up within two or three days at most.
  • They'd only be worth the kudos if they tell you to keep the other set for free. They've not really done anything THAT special :?
Bianchi. There are no alternatives only compromises!
