    He's probably not joking.

    You sure want to go for a curry Mark? I would have thought roast beef and morris dancing would be more your kind of thing.

    Aw, c'mon looks like a genuine offer. Lots of harsh words on here lately, I've dealt out some myself and taken some too.

    If someone offers a gesture of friendship, then we should take it, IMHO.

    I'm up for a pint and a madras. :D

    How about basing it around a sportif (not one of those ultra hillys) in a place where we can use a large campsite and there are also immediately local hotels.?

    Tour of wessex is a good potential one?

    Aww, you don't mean that. things get very polarised on here and due to a bit of delay when typing things may come out more polarised and harsh than intended. There's nothing that can't be sorted out over a pint after a sportive, after all, cycling is what we all have in common.;

    you must match pint for pint and have a three pint penalty for not attending first. :)

    They can, but don't tell the mad little fella with the pencil tache! He'll go crackers.

    I would give serious consideration to attending something, if it goes ahead. Work/other committment dependant obviously.

    I won't tell, honest.

    Is Kiko's nightclub still in Pontefract ? Or Dirty Dicks curry house.? I spent a debauched weekend there in 1988. Good times.

    I was only 8 in 1988 so don't recall "Dirty Dick's"... However, I've done a fair bit of drinking and pulling in Kikos when I was younger. It changed name to "Liberty Park" then "Utopia" (a complete misnoma on every conceivable level) and then back to "Kikos" as that was the name everyone used anyway.

    It's shut down now. Good riddance.
