Today and tomorrow are much earned days off for me. Today is a day off the bike resting, and tomorrow morning is a nice long ride. Going to take the kids to the park when all this frost clears. It's another cracking day on the Isle of Man.

What is everyone else up to?

8.15 haircut followed by porridge and brown sugar, cup of green tea. Ready for off out into the sunny sub zero tundra.

Dam, the Hob Nobs I've got are plain. They're not actually mine, I've just nicked some off the girl I work with.

Another chilly ride in this morning, left leg is aching good and proper. Don't know whether to rest it or MTFU and push on through. Supposed to be going out Saturday for a couple of hours of "hard riding".

Kev, it gets worse as you go further North too  eh Lawman?

What you want to do is go South, to beautiful, historic Warwick. Not North to the clogged-artery capital of Warwickshire. :P

Where in Cov are you? Have you had the delights of the ring road?!

Yeah, some of my work involves cardiac care, and the South of the county is full of old people who have dodgy 'electrics' in their hearts, and the North is full of people who've clogged up the pipes (medical term ) with cr@p!

I went to uni in Cov, lived in what turned out to be essentially the red light district, by the old footy ground! That part of it is definitely a 'poo' hole!

I hope you're not mocking, Solihull is awesome, unless you want a good night out, or half decent riding, or affordable housing, or....hmmm, maybe not then

Dad? I've finally found you!

I like it too really. It's just too expensive for me to live here when I move out. Also, although there's plenty of countryside, there's no bridleways, and it's a bit flat. Nice 'central' location without the hassle of living right in Birmingham though.

have we hijacked this post slightly?
  • I think you have, I shall try and bring it back on track slightly.

Today I have the day off as I am helping my mate film his music video all afternoon and evening. My legs and shoulders (for some reason!) are aching like a bitch. They keep siezing up when I sit down for too long. Could be an interesting day.

Also, some bike parts (a bike seat and XT front mech) have arrived at work, so I'll go in to collect them in a bit :D
