Hi,
R2W scheme question again. I'm tied to Evans and from what I can work out the best deals at the moment are the following:
BMC Streetfire SSX (105) - £999
Cannondale CAAD 9 Tiagra - £999
Colnago Primavera Tiagra - £999
Specialized Allez Elite (tiagra) £799
Any thoughts about these? I really like the look of the BMC but the Allez seems really nice and would free up some extra cash for some decent accesories (shoes, gloves, wind proof jacket etc). I've not managed to sit on any of them in the right size yet apart form the allez and as they're unlikley to be in the same place I'd like to know which are worth looking at the most.
I am also trying to get my company to change their provider to that I can get either the Boardman Team Carbon or the Orbea T105, but at the moment that's looking unlikely to happen, which is a shame as they are both stunning bikes.
Thanks
Rich

Out of those, I would want to pick the BMC, but in reality, would have to go for the CAAD9.0

Assuming the fit is suitable, CAAD9, without a second thought.0

Evans will get your size in at your nearest branch, just ask.0

CAAD9 no debate0

Depends what you want to do with the bike when you get it. The Allez represents the comfort end of the list with the CAAD9/Primavera at the racier end, the BMC is somewhere in between. If it was my money it would be the CAAD9 as in the long run the quality of the frame would shine out and allow upgrading. In fact you could kit out a CAAD9 with Dura Ace/Red/Record equipment and it would be fine, do the same with the Allez and it would look a bit silly IMO.Norfolk, who nicked all the hills?

I bought the Specialized last week, very good bike, and looks great in bright red0

My twopenneth.......CAAD9Start with a budget, finish with a mortgage!0

I d go for the colnago - mainly because it looks the business.
Fair point about upgrading the caad - but are you going to stick with bike that long, to be putting DA etc on.
I tend to get what on want in the initial purchase - and don't really spend that much on upgrades - prefer to put the cash towards my next bike0 -
Cool, thanks for this guys. I guess the only way to find out is to go and try them so I'll give Evans a call and try to get as many as possible in my size available at the same time.
I must admit that I am very tempted by the BMC though, but the constant stream of good review of the CAAD9 is hard to ignore.0
