I decided to get some cheap whels and slicks to use on my bike to commute to work on and my god, having just fitted them thy've nearly doubled the wight of my bike! I cant stop laughing! Excellent!

I just took all the nice bits off my rigid for another build and rebuilt it with all the Horrible Old S**t I had lying around, it's gone from 22lbs to 28 Not quite the same snappy ride as it was.

There was me thinking I'll keep up with the roadies! With this new weight I doubt I'll keep up with pedestrians!
