Best Road/Cross compromise tyre

Hi

I've just moved to a place surrounded in busy roads so I have to do a minimal amount of off road to get out to the quieter lanes, hence I've bought a Kona cross bike. The bike comes with speed kings as standard but these are useless on the road, any suggestion of a resonable compromise with a decent amount of puncture resistance. At the moment I'm looking at Specialized CX borough armadillo's and Vittoria Randoneur cross tyres.
