How can we get 4 bikes in bike bags and 4 blokes from Parma airport to Puerto Pollensa without spending a fortune? Last time we had two taxis which were fairly expensive. We would ride but we have a lot of luggage as well[ we are meeting the [non-cycling] women folk!]

Yep got it now, thanks for that. We are rethinking things as it seems it might be cheaper or as cheap to hire bikes possibly from Pro cycling . Charges for flying bikes and extra taxis needed might not be far off the price of hire! The taxi link will still come in handy, thanks again.

There's nothing like having your own bike though. Particularly if you are intending to do plenty of miles/ hills!
  • Why not cycle from Palma to Peurto Pollensa ? Once you're away frrom the airport its a fantastic ride. You can vary the route to suit youself. I went via the orient valley ok it did take me the best part of a day as i was prone to wandering and cafe stops but what a way to start a holiday in Mallorca.
