buying a new bike

Hi there I new to this site so hi to all.

I looking to buy a new bike I seen a bike in halfords that I like a CARRERA KRAKEN mountain bike for £400 is this a good bike.

Also I have had a mix response to buying a bike from halfords what are your views on this.
