First 'big' bike supplied by my Dad, I remember little about it other than long rides with a mate, downtube shifters, white leather bar tape and an incredible paint scheme.
It had a yellow basecoat and then a candle flame had been slowly passed over the frame leaving flame shaped black sooty marks everywhere, a clear lacquer had then been sprayed over the top. Sounds odd but it looked fantastic.
Typical teenage habits of girls, cricket, beer followed by work meant I stopped using it, then one day it was gone.
I'd like it back if it's still out there, a picture at the very least would be great.
