Race Wheelset brain meltdown!?!!!$^

I need some wheels to race on, as the wheels i train on are campy khamsins (came with the bike) and are heavy/solid for training purposes....
have been looking and researching for ages, and now my brain is scrambled egg!!!
PLEASE HELP!!!
I am a fairly light rider 67/68kg range atm, and i tend to gap people on the climbs, however the majority of races i can enter into are on the flat, and as i am slight i need all the help i can get against all the fatty roleurs! But wheels would definitely have to be light and good at climbing as well as surely i should play to my strengths? In an ideal world they would be aero as well as i do time trialing ...
the reason that i need one pair of wheels to do the job is that i am a student, and therefore can't really afford any new wheels let alone several pairs!!
My saving grace is that i can get campag, sram, miche, dtswiss, mwheel, pro, bontrager for trade...
(ex bike shop empoyee, before descending into a scrounging student!)
looking at under the £500 mark for the pair, and i run campy 10spd veloce...
is this impossible?
thanks!!!!

AM Classic 420s or Easton EA90 TT - 30mm rims and aero spokes are perceptibly faster than a regular rim but strong and robust enough for road racing. Either that or a pair of Planet-X carbons for £400.Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0

A pair of IRD Aero Niobiums and a lightish hub 20/24 CX Rays. Light but aero and still strong.

Or not, perhaps.
The OP advised he runs CAMPAGNOLO Veloce 10 speed. Might find it a tad awkward fitting a cassette to the Shimano only freehub. Adapters are a nuisance.
Mavic Elites, or perhaps Fulrcum 3 should be well in the budget.Open One+ BMC TE29 Seven 622SL On One Scandal Cervelo RS0 -

Unless he's a CAMPAG purist, solve that with a new cassette, chain. The price of a new Shimano cassette is small change after spending 500.
Those wheels are the best for £500 and worth more, so it's worth changing.

Any weight lost by going for lightweight climbing wheels will be impercetible, especially if you can already gap people on the climbs with the Khamsins.
Aerodynamics should be your priority so, as MD suggests, a more aero rim like the AM Classic 420s would give you your best bang for buck.0
