realplayer down loads

prevouisly my realplayer allowed me to down load video's from youtube and any thing similar , a blue box would appear above the clip being played and i could down load it straight away, since a computer problem an a re install of realplayer amoungst other stuff the down load feature does not work any more, no blue box appears, if i right click on a clip being played it mentions stuff about adobe, if i go to the real player web site it works ok as it used to.
has my computer got some thing set wrong or has some thing changed regarding down loads, ive been back to a previous clip i down loaded from youtube which will not down load.
any help appreciated.

    IIRC if it's the firefof plugin they haven't updated it to work with the latest version of firefox. If it's for IE then I've no idea

    the only thing you can do is do a clean uninstall of RealPlayer and reinstall a brand new version: http://real.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/4723

    If that doesn't work then it could be the content is no longer available to download. ;)

    Hmmm,was all working fine until just had a update this morning from realplayer, now would appear i cant download direct from you tube any more, the box comes up with unable to down load, seam to work ok from other places, any one else noticed any thing ??? :?
