just doesnt seem to work too well, bike suffers a little as the shock seems very soft there is llittle life left in it

    what is the shock?

    life? what is life!

    have you set it up?

thought about sending for a service?

will be cheaper than a new one and fitting kit and spring.

There's guides here regarding set up of various shocks. There's a good one from Tim Flooks here.
