Even as a young rider in 2003 he was phyiologically greater than everyone else.

The last paragraph is quite interesting...the first time I have heard that. Would be interesting to see how he came up with 46 secs.

    Interesting indeed, if he can keep making judgements like that he will go a long way this boy.

    I guess he must have measured how far his performance was likely to fall off after completing the climb, just as he says it did in Beijing and Monaco.

    I had a fair sum riding on Cancellara winning the Beijing time trial and when I saw Contador set off as he did, I wasn't quite as confident.
