Anyone know if Millar plans to have a go at any of the one day classics this year ? I always think he has the ability to do well in them - big rider, good bike handler, can handle the distance. Anyone know why he seems to target grand tour stages and minor stage races rather than one day races - maybe just for the time trials ?

it's a hard life if you don't weaken.

I can't see him doing it. First, he's a TT specialist and even then he's got to compete with the likes of Cancellara, plus Evans, Contador etc. Second, his team has better chances with the likes of Farrar, Maaskant for Flanders and Roubaix, or Hjesdal, VDV and Martin for the Ardennes.
