Which long lasting Road Tyre?

I have one road bike which is used for commuting, training and racing.

I need one pair of tyres to do the lot. London's streets have torn up my Hutchinson Fusion 2s fairly quickly (although they do grip nicely in all conditions). I was thinking of some Hutchinson Intensives as a longer lasting replacement.

What else should I consider?

Fortezza Tricomps seem to be working well for me at the moment as a nice combo of light, fast, modestly priced (from Ribble) and decent wear performance.
