What's up with commuters this morning?

Has everyone been overdoing the ephedrine this weekend?
After months of relatively uneventful commuting, this morning I get a full blown fight practically at the start of my journey, closely followed by a second one that didn't develop because the police intervened.
First, a cyclist screaming and throwing punches at a pedestrian at the junction of Blackfriars Road and Stamford Street, no idea why.
Then, a few hundred yards further on Southwark Bridge one cyclist came out of the cycle lane and rode smack into another one trying to enter the cycle lane. Now technically it's a one-way lane, but since the roadworks have been there it's beeing used in both directions and I haven't seen any problems before. The guy who came off his bike was probably in the right, but he immediately squared off and started shouting, apparently unaware of the armed police getting out of the car five yards away.
That was enough for me. I took it easy for the rest of the journey, so sorry if you were held up by a slow bloke on a crap bike.
FCN 6 in the week on the shiny new single speed.

FCN 3 at the weekend - struggling to do it justice!
