Waterproof lights?

I used to have a high opinion of Cateye, which has rapidly dimished since my lights and speedo (both weeks old) ceased working due to water ingress. The shop's response? The kit wasn't advertised as waterproof!
I like to ride Volvo style, with front and rears lit up permanently. Even with mudguards they take a drenching at this time of year. Can anyone reccommend waterproof lights? Rear especially.
Cheers.

These from Edinburgh Cycles for £25 are cracking lights. I've had many comments over how visible they are.Bianchi. There are no alternatives only compromises!
I RIDE A KONA CADABRA -would you like to come and have a play with my magic link?0 -
on the rear i use a cateye tl-ld1000, in the last few weeks it has had regular drenchings with high-velocity salty water/mud with no problems, has o-ring seals, no sign of water geting in
on the front i use a b&m ixon iq, very bright, excellent beam shape, and rechargeable, again no trouble with watermy bike - faster than god's and twice as shiny0
