A friend of mine who lives on salvation army land next to the farm which will be the site of the olympic mountain bike track (said to be 5km!) attended a council meeting earlier this week. A police rep who was there said that cycling in the park will be banned and that the track will be pay to use only.has anyone else heard this?

    Now why wouldn't that surprise me! How odd to have a rep from the plod at a meeting about the building of an Olympic bike track.

    Haven't heard anything other than work should be starting soon.
