Rockshox problem?

In a previous post I explained that I have a new bike but it is a 2008 model. I cannot take it back to the supplying dealer. Anyway on having my LBS check it over it turned out the oil had leaked through and they have serviced the forks which are Rockshox Reba SL 29er.
They replaced a seal. Anyway, I haven't ridden it yet and noticed a small patch of oil on the floor underneath the rebound adjuster and on checking that, oil has leaked from there. Could this just be some residual oil from the service or is this likely to be a problem?
I would have just called my LBS but it's a Sunday and I want to go our for a ride.
