Purchased the bike a couple of months ago and have slowly begun the transformation into what you see before you now

Fox F series RL's
Funn Fat boy bars in white
Lizard skins lock on grips
Da Bomb furry leopard print seat
Da Bomb QR skewers
Panaracer Fire XC (rear) and Trailraker (front)

Other additions include a good few scrapes and knocks, but practice makes purfect!

    Nice bike

Apart from the rear tyre & saddle, they don't suit the bike IMHO.

  • Sorry to say I agree with Andy.

"Da Bomb furry leopard print seat "

    WHAT. THE. FCUK??!?!?

(then again, so long as you find it comfy)

and could you not have bought the blue sidewalled Fire XCs?

still a nice bike though, other than the tarty cosmetic bits it's well specced out too.
  • Nice bike, but sorry, I threw up a little in my mouth when I saw that saddle
  • well the seat just makes it stand out in a crowd!, everyone else got a black or white one - and i like to be different, looking at changing the wheels to white Hope or Halo when funds allow

do they do the tyres with a blue band? picked them up really cheap at halfords believe it or not, will do until the local trails dry out a bit
  • Ah, well if they were dead cheap, that changes it a bit.

You can pick up the blue ones (the proper folding XC PRO version) for about £23 though when that red one wears out.
  • Ideal, blue wpould look better on the bike,

will keep an eye out, these were £12 and £14 so will do until they wear out
  • the saddle will stop people nicking the bike i suppose... makes a good bike look nafff... imho sorry dude and defo change the tyres no matter how cheap its criminal even if they were giving them away... if i offered you a cheap woolen patterened jumper you would not wear it would you
  • Change the tyre, just because it doesnt look ok on the bike, surely its more important to have the performance rather than the looks?

depends what sort of pattern the jumper has

Original tyres were nobbly niks, ideal as they were black but no good in the winter weather - this is where most of the chips and scratches came from, lack of front end grip
