Can anyone advise on a decent chainset as i have had x2 raceface chainsets in a year, they seem to dent easily.
What is a good chainset for £80.00 Shimano?

why not just replace the rings?"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

I haven't used it myself, but the slx gets good reviews: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=280200

What do you mean by Dent? Do you mean the chainrings? If so, like Nick says why not just replace the rings, or lose your big ring and replace with a bashguard?
I've been using SLX for a while now. You can get double or triple for £90. Good for XC, AM and light FR I'd say.
If it's something a bit more hardcore you're after, check out FSA Gravity stuff.0 -

If you're whacking the big ring, no matter what you fit it'll get bent or ground down over time. Do you actually use the big ring much when you ride? Just losing it entirely might be a good idea, most people won't miss it and it gets you more ground clearance. You can fit a bashring if you want too.Uncompromising extremist0
