Anyone know if Free Motion in Playa les Ingles is still in business? Their website cannot be found when I look. Anyone know of other places in the south of the island to hire bikes?

There last month; they're quite open and stocked with cannondales. Try googling again; they do have an English version website.0

The site may have been down for maintenance. Try here:The more you spend - the faster you go - the less you see.0

I've cycled Gran Canaria a few times...and it has the 2 toughest climbs Ive ever did on it...way tougher than Mortirolo,Gavia,Ventoux,Tre-Cime Lavaredo,Tourmalet etc....and the rest aint easy either ;-)
You can read and see photos of my experiences here if you like?

having struggled, cursing all the way up pico de las nieves after 2 months off the bike, sounds like the alps will be a piece of cake!
richyboy, if you want a truly challenging climb, try mount evans in colorado ... technically not hard (28 miles straight up, similar to soria in gradiant) but add in an altitude of 14,000 feet.0 -
Anyone know where I can read RICHYBOYS blog on Gran Canaria cycling as the above links no longer work?
Thanks0
